Employee Resource Groups

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are official employee- led-and Acadia sponsored groups that create meaningful value by:

  • Fostering a diverse, inclusive, and engaged workplace
  • Providing a space to feel a sense of belonging on a more personal scale
  • Developing burgeoning talent with a myriad of cross functional opportunities
  • Giving back to the community and life sciences industry

B.O.L.D.

B.O.L.D. is dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and development of Black employees. The group works to create an environment where Black employees feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work, while colleagues are encouraged to learn, respect, and embrace diversity. By engaging the community, elevating cultural milestones, and providing education, B.O.L.D. strengthens inclusion across Acadia and advances our values.

¡HOLA!

¡HOLA! supports the professional growth, leadership, and community engagement of Hispanic employees and allies at Acadia. The group fosters connections, enhances visibility, and provides mentorship and development opportunities to help members thrive. By celebrating cultural heritage and strengthening ties with external partners, ¡HOLA! enriches our workplace and supports broader ERG collaboration.

MOSAIC

The purpose of MOSAIC is to engage people with aspects of various cultures, and thus provide them frames of reference to better inform them how both internal and external customers arrive at decisions, formulate everyday perspectives, and work towards common goals in light of various cultural contexts. Deeper understanding leads to deeper relationships.

Rainbow Alliance

The Rainbow Alliance fosters belonging for LGBTQ+ employees and allies by creating a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment. The group raises awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, supports career growth, and advocates for inclusive policies and practices. By connecting employees through events, community partnerships, and advocacy, Rainbow Alliance helps Acadia live its values of inclusion and respect.

Women at Work

Women at Work serves as a platform to support the professional development, networking, and leadership of women and allies at Acadia. The group provides opportunities for mentoring, skill-building, and engagement, encouraging employees to learn from one another and bring their true selves to work. Through events, stories, and shared experiences, Women at Work inspires members to thrive and elevate others along the way.

We believe that having a culture of belonging, where every Acadian can bring their authentic self, is at the core of our diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) journey. Acadians are driven to break through barriers, to innovate and to persevere—and we all thrive with the right supports in place.

Creating and Sustaining a Balanced Workplace

Supporting the success of DEIB at all levels at Acadia is not just about removing barriers in the hiring process—it is also about making sure that Acadians all have access to the right tools in order to succeed once here. Our processes, policies, and procedures help support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout the talent lifecycle. These include:

  • Talent acquisition strategies to attract well-rounded talent
  • Interview training, bias mitigation, and other enhancements to the application and selection process
  • Compulsory instructor-led and on-demand training on DEIB topics
  • Regular reviews of talent lifecycle for trends and opportunities

Community Commitment

We believe that together we have a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Whether it’s through company-facilitated local community service efforts or donations, ERG-led community involvement, or our efforts to support our patients’ access to care, Acadians are encouraged to give back to their communities. We offer:

Clinical Trial Diversity

In the pursuit of developing and commercializing therapies that can truly make a difference in the lives of patients, it is crucial to prioritize diversity and inclusion in clinical trials.
