Position Summary:
Acadia is seeking a Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing to help shape and execute the consumer marketing strategy for Nuplazid, with a focus on patients, caregivers, and advocacy audiences. In this role, you’ll bring the brand strategy to life through impactful omnichannel campaigns—driving digital engagement, media execution, and social presence that make a real difference for patients and their families.
You’ll oversee brand and unbranded websites, lead social media strategy, and partner closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver high-quality, results-driven programs. Using customer insights and performance analytics, you’ll continuously refine tactics and introduce innovative approaches to enhance the consumer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development of consumer marketing strategy aligned to brand strategy.
- Directs the user experience (UX) for branded and unbranded websites.
- Evaluates and implements innovative technologies and tactics aligned with consumer marketing objectives.
- Executes the tactical plans and activities of marketing strategy,
- Evaluates and executes brand media plans
- Leads the implementation of an integrated cross-functional, omni-channel plan across digital channels.
- Leads the development of social media strategy across consumer, patient/caregiver, and Advocacy audiences.
- Leads updates to brand.com.
- Leads updates to DSE.com.
- Monitors website analytics and develops recommendations for subsequent DSE.com and brand.com releases.
- Partners with Commercial Insights, Analytics and Operations to incorporate customer insights.
- Leads specific market research studies to drive customer insights
- Partners with and supports cross-functional departments/colleagues like HCP Marketing, Patient Support Services, Commercial Operations, Advocacy, Sales.
- Engages with AORs and supplier partners to drive tactical plan performance effectively and efficiently.
- Develops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial leadership and other internal groups.
- Participates in and adheres to MLR submission and review processes.
- Coordinates, manages and monitors marketing budgets.
- Adheres to all corporate policies and industry guidelines in a compliant manner.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. A minimum of 8 years of progressively-responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry within the Marketing arena, with significant experience in digital and omnichannel marketing.to create a seamless customer experience. Healthcare and Consumer Marketing experience preferred. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Must possess:
- Biopharma brand management and multi-channel tactical experience
- Demonstrated experience building multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and deriving business insights from performance data for all relevant omnichannel channels, including website, CRM, SEM, display and social media promotions
- Demonstrated successes in one or more areas of marketing development, execution and measurement (e.g., market research, campaign development, program development, tactical implementation, ROI analysis)
- Demonstrated experience directing agency partners
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to interface/collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate issues and results within and across functional areas, and deliver presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines
- Able to make and prioritize process and resource decisions based on overall team needs.
- Skilled at building effective relationships
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time
Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication both in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedule or business needs.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.
