Jim Kihara is the Senior Vice President, Finance at Acadia, overseeing strategic finance, accounting, tax and sourcing and procurement. He brings to the organization more than two decades of experience in accounting and finance leadership roles. View All Management Team
Prior to his current role Mr. Kihara was Acadia’s Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, joining the Company in March of 2020 from Cubic Corporation, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the Cubic Mission Solutions operating segment. Prior to joining Cubic, Jim was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Assurance and Advisory Practice, serving clients across San Diego’s key industries, including life sciences, healthcare and technology. His clients ranged from early stage; venture backed start-up enterprises through multinational publicly traded companies.
Jim is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of CPA. Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University.
