Rob Ackles

Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer

Rob Ackles is our Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer leading Acadia’s People & Performance team.

Since joining Acadia in 2014, he has been instrumental to our evolution and growth, helping to cultivate the high-performance culture that has been key to Acadia’s success. For the last eight years, Mr. Ackles has served on our executive management team leading all of our human resources functions and talent initiatives. He is focused on enhancing corporate results and realizing greater bottom-line success through his leadership of total rewards, talent acquisition, employee experience, learning and development, performance management, people operations, and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategies.

With over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Mr. Ackles has made significant contributions to pre-commercial and commercial organizations in start-up, emerging and rapid growth phases. Prior to coming to Acadia, Mr. Ackles was an accomplished leader at Santarus and TAP Pharmaceuticals serving in a variety of commercial and corporate roles including sales, sales management, account management, specialty markets, leadership and coaching, sales training, and learning and development.

Mr. Ackles has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
