ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Added to Large-Cap Russell 1000 Market Index

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jun. 27, 2016– ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ACAD), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative medicines that address unmet medical needs in central nervous system disorders, today announced that it has been added to the Russell 1000 Index, effective June 27, 2016. The Russell 1000 Index measures the performance of the large-cap segment of the U.S. equity universe. It is a subset of the Russell 3000 Index and includes approximately 1000 of the largest securities based on a combination of their market cap and current index membership. All Russell indices are reconstituted on an annual basis to ensure new and growing equities are reflected accurately in each index.
