The Senior Manager, Marketing Services, Medical, Legal & Regulatory (MLR) will be responsible for the MLR review process, leading strategic collaborations across a multi-disciplinary team of experts to ensure a consistent, efficient, and effective process for MLR Review.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee MLR review process for Acadia’s two marketed brands. Serve as the lead point of contact for all MLR submissions, tracking, and approvals; route and monitor new and renewing materials Veeva Vault Promo Mats; assign relevant reviewers and manage internal due dates and timelines
  • Works closely with the reviewers, project originators, and agency partners to resolve questions and issues as they arise; communicate project timelines to project originators and agency partners to manage competing Commercial priorities
  • advance issues and expedite business critical items as needed
  • Schedule MLR meetings and set agendas, taking into account timelines/prioritization for projects across brands
  • Facilitate MLR meetings, capturing reviewer feedback/next steps and documenting in Promo Mats
  • Facilitate Promo Mats access for new users and partners; develop and lead onboarding and refresher trainings
  • Maintain MLR Submission Tracker to forecast volume of future submissions
  • Coordinate schedule of OPDP submissions with Regulatory team
  • Track and report on key metrics; evaluate and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of process and systems.
    • Proactively manage enhancements in Veeva Vault by soliciting feedback and partnering with IT on implementation.
  • Support goals for Marketing Services, reflecting clear alignment with the Commercial organization’s strategic priorities; successfully manage working relationships with MLR reviewers to optimize effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.  Targeting 7 years of relevant progressive experience in pharmaceutical with a focus on managing the MLR review functions. Deep knowledge of the Veeva Vault PromoMats platform, including standard practices strongly desired.

  • MS Office proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and intermediate skill in Excel
  • Employee must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in accordance with our policy and third-party requirements and also meet all additional local, state, and federal vaccination requirements for conducting in-person field coaching days, customer visits, admittance into local Community HCP Offices, as well as for attendance at Medical Congresses and Local Conferences for in person participation and exhibiting

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 to $137,400.00. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance.
