Julie Fisher is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Commercial Strategy and leads Acadia’s healthcare professional, consumer, payer and patient services marketing functions.
Ms. Fisher joined Acadia in 2018 as Executive Director, New Product Planning and Commercial Strategy and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2020 to lead the NUPLAZID® (pimavanserin) brand strategy overseeing growth initiatives for current and future indications.
Ms. Fisher is an accomplished biopharmaceutical executive with over three decades of experience focused almost exclusively in central nervous system (CNS) disorders. She started her career at Pfizer and held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in marketing, brand leadership and global commercial strategy. Julie served as Vice President of Pfizer’s multi-billion dollar CNS franchise that included ZOLOFT® and Aricept®. In addition, she led U.S. and global commercial strategy development for the psychiatry pipeline.
Ms. Fisher also worked at APS Healthcare/Universal American, a care management and Medicare Advantage organization focused on optimizing care and managing costs for Medicaid and Medicare. Prior to joining Acadia, she was the Vice President of Global Commercial Development at Axovant in preparation for the introduction of a new Alzheimer’s compound.
Julie earned a Master of Business Administration in Communications in communications management from Fordham University, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University.
